I really appreciated how Feist wrapped up the Riftwar Saga with A Darkness at Sethanon. The way he balanced the epic battles and political intrigue kept me hooked throughout. I especially enjoyed the moments where Pug and Tomas come into their full power—those scenes felt earned and thrilling. The pacing was tight, yet it never skimmed over important character development, which made the stakes feel very personal. What did you think about how the author handled the climax between the dark forces and the heroes?

One thing that stood out to me was the depth Feist gave to the world of Midkemia in this book. The cultures, magic systems, and histories all feel lived-in and authentic, which really enhances the story’s immersion. I liked how the themes of friendship, sacrifice, and destiny were threaded through the narrative without feeling preachy. It’s the kind of fantasy that respects its readers’ intelligence. How did you feel about the resolution of the main characters’ arcs by the end of the novel?
